Woman Abuse Working Group

This site was for the Woman Abuse Working Group organization, wawg.ca. The company that I am part of, Stand Media Solutions, also helped.
I tried to make this site disability friendly as it has a font-size changer and you can tab through the pages. Also all of the images have appropriate descriptions in the alt tags.
At the bottom of the page, there is a javascript program that I wrote, whereby you can determine what services are available for your specific situation.
There is also an escape button in case you have an angry boyfriend/ husband looking over your shoulder!
This site is also multilingual.
WAWG.ca is supposed to be a source of information for abused women and tells of all the services available for them in the Hamilton area. Its purpose is to help abused women find assistance quickly.
Halton Seniors Advocacy Group

This web site was for the Halton Seniors Advocacy Group (HSAG). They are also known as CARP Halton. Keith wanted a site where their blogs had the focal point. Please go to https://haltonseniorsadvocacygroup.ca/
The right sidebar has the coming up Halton Chapter Events and also image links to HSAG’s sponsors. The left side bar has the categories that the blogs are divided into. Keith has so many postings that he wanted to be able to list them by category.
This site also has a transparent header. A transparent header is one where the header flows down over the top of the page and sits on top of the content. Keith was not interested in having a top header bar full of phone numbers, social media icons etc so I did not put in a top header.
Keith enjoys keeping the HSAG site updated himself!
The Why Tourney

A friend of mine, Debby plays hockey with a group of women in Erin, ON. These women decided to put on a hockey tournament to raise money for the Main Place Youth Center that is set to open its doors in the spring of 2020. Debby asked me to do their website. I had a ball doing it. The original site had a timer on the main page tracking down the days and hours to the tournament. They have taken it down for now. The ladies plan to run this tournament each year.
They raised $10,104.89!
